The Project Manager position is responsible for the coordination and management of assigned projects and related tasks, such as quotes and orders, for the duration of the project.  Projects consist of engineered or lightly engineered products such as large or high profile tubeskins, thermocouples/thermowells, and other temperature, pressure, level and appropriate multipoint quotes, and orders as determined by the Technical Services Manager.  This position is the entry-level position into the Technical Services group.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews product design for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications.
  • Provides sales order requirements to project technicians including design, inspection, vendor data, and any other pertinent requirements.
  • Analyzes engineering drawings, sketches, specifications, and related data to determine design factors such as size, shape and type of arrangement of parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Examines records such as product files, related documents and correspondence, converses with the client and other personnel to obtain the required information regarding inquiries, orders or questions.
  • Coordinates date of document and material delivery to customer based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
  • Performs the Contract Review for technical and commercial content.
  • Signs the design documents, release forms, request forms, and change forms.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in related field such as Engineering, Accounting, or Business; or 4 years related experience in a manufacturing environment. Technical interest desired. Customer service also desired.
  • Must possess the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate in writing clears and concisely.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
  • Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
