The HRBP is responsible, under the direction of the General Manager and guidance from the Director of Employee Relations for managing the  key areas of responsibility to include  policy and procedure development, payroll, labor relations, training and development, local recruitment and selection. 

 

HR business partner

Responsibilities

  • Manages all of the subsidiary HR departmental operations and processes
  • Oversees the identification of job vacancies, and  partners with the Corporate Workforce Planning team to fill openings based on identified knowledge, skills & abilities (KSA’s)
  • Advises managers on organizational matters such as discrimination, discipline, harassment, etc.
  • Oversees the payroll function to include completion of timecards and Kronos updates and administration, partnering with the Corporate HRBP – Payroll & Benefits
  • Reviews and enters Employee Status Change forms as needed for changes to employee title, department , hours, reporting relationship, rate of pay and other details as needed.
  • Conducts exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
  • Manages employee information meetings on employment policy, benefits and compensation

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or other related field
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years’ of progressive human resources experience to include the administration of several HR-related areas: compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and development,
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
